blah blah blah

i have decided i have some pet peeves, road rage peeves.
the greatest one presently, is radio dj's who just don't shut the hell up, aren't music stations for music?

obviously not in Johannesburg,...whether it's lotus, five fm or highveld the dj's feel that they have been employed to bore us with inane chatter that means absolutely nothing,..unfortunately the Indian station is about the worst, i think the dj's/presenter don't even have a moderate education,it's probably not even about education, just that they're rather stupid, i get extremely frustrated driving around in traffic, the easiest way to relax would be to listen to good music, instead i get even more frustrated flicking the dial on my radio from one station to the next, this adds to road rage i'm sure...the easiest thing is to keep my cd shuttle fully loaded so i can tune out the radio waves :)

note the huge car pile up outside galoolies interchange this caused total chaos the road was closed for a day, that would be my next traffic peeve, idiot drivers, and companies who don't service their trucks often enough, so innocent lives are lost.

the traffic congestion in Johannesburg, is worsening daily, and i cannot handle people who drive without consideration for other cars on the road, mostly they would be chatting on their cell phone's or doing their hair or chatting to passengers in the car, oblivious to the fact that they are holding up traffic by driving at 40 k's per hour.

and then the personalised plates, rodney gp/niki gp/ lerato gp. are they all really insane enough to advertise their bad driving skills publicly. then theirs the plates that read 5000 hot gp, bite me gp,sexy gp,eat my dust gp,.. i do believe that these people have some serious self esteem issues, reminds me of the 5 cent psychology course, men with small "dicks" so when i drive around and see that i can't help but giggle at the thought.

worst yet, are the drivers in fordsburg who insist on double and treble parking, they cannot parallel park so they just stop in the middle of the road and that's, that. i took my mother to the fruiterers the other day, and this guy in a bakkie just stopped in the middle of the road, left his car and went into the store to collect his fruit, damn,..we had to go around the block to park, instead of turning into the street, how inconsiderate can you get.

how about the guys, in peak hour traffic who will see you indicating to change lanes, but will inch on to the bumper of the car in front, just so that you cannot be let in, how far will the idiot get in bumper to bumper traffic.

the mother's, carting children, who don't have their kids strapped in for safety, instead you see kids hanging out of windows, or jumping around on the front passenger seat.

i'm sure almost everyone out there has their pet road peeves

just caught up with all the posts i have missed... your social diary has been quite full lately, good hehe, i'm no fond of weddings too, they are boring and repetitive, only some good flirtation can save the day and that too is rare...so all in all a big bore!

the emphasis on clothes is ridiculous, i agree!! :)

i don't like hostile drivers, who use their machines as some kind of a weapon.

here, here, the kind of driver who thinks he owns the road cause he has a fancy set of wheels:)
can't agree with you more about hostile drivers.
