the ridiculous
received this cartoon from an anonumous source, none the less, had to post it hear, so apologies, for any copy write infringements:)
black empowerment seems to have done, no one,.. but the few in the right places, huge financial favours. hey look at the bright side, it spawns a new generation of really quick thinkers. 10 years of independance, and the billionares can be counted on your fingers, the rest of the population, live under the belief that huge financial gains are easy to attain, and when thats not forthcoming, they just drive around leafy walled in suburbs shooting their way to the quick buck.
the latest joke, the cosatu instigated strikes, so teachers and health workers join the strike to,.. police/teachers/health workers...understandable as their working conditions are not ideal and the pay is crappy, but guys surely you can voice your protests without endangering peoples lives.i'm all for the guys in the police services getting better pay, as they are in the firing line dealing with the crime epidemic in this country,..so go for it guys hold out for the higher wage.
the real joke,is the strike by homeaffairs employees, (they are permanently on strike anyway),since none of those employed there do any work. when you have a query, the standard response is,...we'll get back to you by the end of the week, which week and in which year?that is what we forget to ask. but don't try to hold them up with a toy gun, if you are in need of your identity docs, the cost is five years jail time, and the incompetant staff who drive you to insanity, cannot be fired as incompetance is the pre requisite for getting the job to begin with.
this afternoon, sars(south african receiver of revenue)employees downed their chicken wings to march off the job, what a joke... between the ridiculous amounts they get paid, and the black mail funding they take from customers, these guys earn more than i ever will erking out my living in my little office.who the hell will report the cash changing hands,...not a soul, cause its cheeper than trying to make uneducated, illinformed people understand the laws of their own country. so corruption will always be rife, for every employee they change, the first thing the new recruit learns is how to take the black mail money.
the fat cats therefore just get fatter, and the uneducated masses, are drawn to crime as they are unable to comprehend, that in 99% of cases money is earned through hard work and determination, and that doesn't necessarilly make you rich. what black empowerment has managed to do, is send out the message that all you need to do to earn oodles of money, without much effort is be black.
ciaou for now
