snow in johannesburg

jo'burgers awoke to a white city this morning.my first sight of snow in 25 years in this city, and i was as excited as a 2 year old unwrapping gifts.
so glad, i purchased the little camera, i shot a couple of pics.

saved to my pc already, kind of excited, as i'm becoming a little more handy with tecno stuff:)how long the fad will last is another story. none the less, here's what my garden looks like this morning.

tried to get the day off work, to frolic in the snow, wasn't that lucky.
anyway, the mood at the office today is happy, amazing what a couple of flakes of snow, can do for people, sitting here watching the sun melt the snow down, and i feel like the proverbial cat that ate the cream :)it is really the simple pleasures in life that are priceless.
